Report: Historic Pontifical Mass in Honor of Blessed Karl of Austria – 20 October 2013

On Sunday, 20 October 2013, the Knights of Columbus Woodlawn Council 2161, Traditional Latin Mass Guild hosted a Pontifical Low Mass in honor of Blessed Emperor Karl of Austria at St. Titus Church in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. The celebrant was Don Teodoro de Faria, Bishop Emeritus of Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.  Fr. Gregory Pendergraft, FSSP, and Fr. James W. Dolan served as Pontifical Low Mass Chaplains. The PLMC, Inc. provided logistical and liturgical support for this historic Mass.

Report: Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and Sixth Annual Battle of Lepanto Dinner

A Traditional Latin High Mass for the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary was celebrated on Monday, 7 October 2013 at Saint Titus Church, Aliquippa PA – sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Woodlawn Council 2161 Traditional Latin Mass Guild. The celebrant was Canon Matthew Talarico, Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priest. The PLMC, Inc. provided logistical and liturgical support.

Silver Jubilee of the FSSP

October 18, 2013 is the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP). The main celebration will be in Rome, in the personal parish under their care, Trinità dei Pellegrini.

The entire ceremony will be broadcast live by LiveMass.net:

LiveMass will be broadcasting the Holy Mass LIVE from Rome, on LiveMass.net and the iMass apps.
The Solemn Mass celebrated by Fr. Berg will be broadcast LIVE on October 18, 2013, at 11:30 AM Rome Time, which will be 5:30 AM Eastern US Time, and 7:30 PM Eastern Australian Time.
Later that day we will broadcast Vespers and Benediction from Rome at 4:30 PM Rome Time, 10:30 AM Eastern US Time, and 12:30 AM (Oct 19) Eastern Australian Time.

The PLMC Board of Directors has requested that a traditional Latin Mass be offered for the repose of the soul of Alda Ciccone, the mother of Mr. David Ciccone.  Mr. Ciccone was a Director of the Board and longtime member of the PLMC.

The initial mailing for the 2013 Seminary Fund Appeal has been sent to over 1,000 households of the PLMC, Inc.  In recognition of the generous response that has been forthcoming, the PLMC Board of Directors has requested that a novena of Traditional Latin Masses be offered for the private intentions of all who have donated to this important cause.
