Louis J. Kieran, of Pittsburgh, died Saturday, June 8, 2013. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie D. Kieran; son of the late Louis and Ann Kieran; and brother of the late James Kieran and Margaret Kieran. He is survived by several cousins; dear friend, Sharon Conlin and her family; and Iris Cisaricl. Lou was instrumental in bringing the Latin Mass back to Pittsburgh. A funeral will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, in St. Boniface Church, with a traditional Latin Requiem Mass celebrated by the Rev. James W. Dolan. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
The PLMC Board has requested a Mass for the repose of the soul of Lou Kieran, a longtime member of the Board of Directors of the PLMC, Inc. Current members are requested to remember Lou in their prayers.
