Dear PLMC, Inc. Members,
We are happy to report that the Yellow Ribbon Girls and their Gang of Volunteers have completed another of our Christmas Mailings. We could not have done this so successfully without your generous donations of supplies, continued support, and extremely helpful volunteers.
Any type of clerical material is always in great demand so we were happy to include the hundreds of your promotional pens and pencils in the Christmas Care Packages. Thanks also for the hundreds of rosaries and devotional items that you sent. We are a Faith-based group and appreciate your help in keeping our troops supplied with items they need to provide for their spiritual comfort as well as their physical comfort.
We were sorry to learn of the death of your member, Charles Heidenreich. The hundreds of Bibles and other religious books from his library that we have been given were mailed to U.S. servicemen and women who are deployed in several countries from Europe, the Middle East, and Japan. His help will be greatly missed but we thank his family for the large donation of materials from his estate.
We are also happy to report that the monthly boxes we are sending to 3 young men from your organization are being received by them and that we have been hearing from them through their e-mails when they have the time to write. They are a credit to their families for sharing what we send to them with the men stationed in outlying camps and we can never thank them enough for their generosity and concern for others serving around them.
Thanks also to Judy Delia who has been our main contact with your organization. She and her helpers have spent many hours collecting and packing donations of everything from toothbrushes to Bibles and have also assisted us in packing the Care Packages for mailing for more than 2 years.
We hope that you had a Blessed Thanksgiving and we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please keep our group in your prayers and say some prayers every day for our troops. As we say in every message to our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines, “Stay Safe! Stay Strong!”
Sincerely,
Patti, Bonnie, and Vicki The Yellow Ribbon Girls
